Homeless Outreach

Those who serve in outreach to homeless people are part of a team that helps meet practical needs (e.g., food and clothing) in Jesus’ name.  They also get to know people, pray for them and introduce them to Jesus. They are patient, kind and lovingly bold.

Food Service

Food Service volunteers prepare and serve food with excellence.  They go out of their way to serve guests, meet needs and answer questions in a loving manner.

1st Impressions

Volunteers who serve in 1st Impressions help guests feel accepted and loved. They provide a warm welcome to every visitor, answer questions, help guests connect with other volunteers as needed to ensure that guests’ needs are met.

Clothes Closet

Volunteers who serve in the Clothes Closet provide loving customer service to guests and keep the Clothes Closet area clean, organized and safe. They go above and beyond in helping meet practical needs and helping guests feel welcome. They also pray with guests as opportunities arise and help guests connect with Prayer Team members as needed.

Food Pantry

Food Pantry volunteers provide loving customer service to guests and keep the Food Pantry area clean, organized and safe. They go above and beyond in helping meet practical needs and helping guests feel welcome. They also pray with guests as opportunities arise and help guests connect with Prayer Team members as needed.

Prayer Team

Prayer Team members connect with and pray for guests individually. Some Prayer Team members will pray in the background. Others will boldly connect with guests and ask “How can I pray for you?” They also seize opportunities to share the gospel with gentleness and respect. Prayer team members serve in the dining area, clothes closet and parking lot; wherever guests are.

Security

The Security Team helps discover and properly diffuse undesirable situations that potentially impact the safety of volunteers and guests. They work with local law enforcement as needed.
