WEEK 1: BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS
WEEK 1 TOOL: OIKOS
The word household in the English language often refers only to immediate family members. An oikos can refer to co-workers, neighbors, and pretty much anyone in your community or sphere of influence. It’s this word that the New Testament uses to describe how the Gospel spread and disciples were made throughout new Christians’ social networks.
We’re going to use the Oikos map tool to identify individuals in our social networks and guide our prayer life as we pray for future believers as Jesus did in John 17:20.
