Tangie was born in Indiantown, FL, where her father pastored a local Baptist church. She accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of 6. In 2000, Tangie moved to Tampa to study Early Childhood Education at the University of South Florida. While attending USF, she began attending First Baptist Church Temple Terrace, now Mission Hill Church.
Tangie has the privilege of helping lead worship on Sunday mornings, as a part of the Mission Hill Worship Ministry. She also serves in the Mission Hill Preschool Ministry and as an Online Church host.
Tangie taught for 15 years before moving into administration positions. In 2019, Tangie began working at WEE World as the Curriculum Coordinator and stepped into the role of Director in the fall of 2020.
In her free time, Tangie enjoys spending time with her husband, Kaleba, and their son, Musah.
